Conor H Murray

Conor H. Murray, PhD is a neuroscientist who has recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship (NIDA T32) at the University of Chicago. Trained on the neurobiology of substance use disorders, his prior work has spanned both preclinical and translational studies, from projects investigating the breakdown of endocannabinoid signaling during cocaine withdrawal to the acute cognitive effects of THC in adolescent men and women, and potential roles for LSD and MDMA in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and autism spectrum disorders

Dr. Nasser Kashou has provided strategic planning and leadership across multiple institutions by establishing and leading several research groups, centers and labs. Dr. Nasser Kashou has mentored, supervised and led hundreds throughout his career. “Great leadership requires a high level of emotional intelligence and not the use of intimidation and manipulation. Selflessness allows you to accept other peoples ideas and most importantly keep your mind open to clearly see the long term vision that is of benefit to the whole, rather than one or two individuals.” His career has included basic, clinical & translational research, vision science, image processing, neuroimaging, neuroengineering, computation, medical imaging and medical devices.

J. Patrick Johnson, MD is a renowned neurosurgeon specializing in spinal disorders and has served as the Director of the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars Sinai Medical Center since 2001 and previously as the Director of the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center from 1993-2001.
He now serves as the Director of Education and Co-Director of the Spine Stem Cell Research Program at Cedars Sinai. He also serves as a Director for the California Association of Neurological Surgeons.
